On March 13, 2010 The Zeitgeist Movement will be hosting a full day of events in St. Louis at the Archive, located SCC's Social Sciences Building Auditorium. Address: St. Charles Community College 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. Cottleville, MO 63376
. The St. Charles event will begin at 2 pm, and will feature a viewing of Zeitgeist: Addendum. Members of the movement will be available to answer questions and delve deeper into some of the finer points involved.
The Zeitgeist Movement is not a political movement. As the activist arm of The Venus Project, our aims reach beyond nations, governments, races, religions, creeds or class. Zeitgeist St. Louis is part of a global movement, one that promotes social action through awareness and education, recognizing our collective potential to overcome crime, poverty, pollution and war. We look at these problems critically and actively promote and research new solutions.
In 2009, 450 events were held in 70 countries. This year, our global events will be even larger in number. In just one year our movement has grown to over 400,000 registered members, increasing at a rate of 10,000 new members each week. Our movement has established growing chapters in nearly every country, and continues to coordinate with like-minded groups advocating environmental awareness and sustainable technologies.
The Zeitgeist Movement is concerned with addressing the root problems in today’s society, rather than continuing the age-old approach of simply treating the symptoms. True social progress begins with personal education, followed by mass awareness. Please join us March 13, 2010 at the Archive.
